Shannon Stephens
Senior Director of Sales & Marketing
Shannon Stephens was the first employee of The Crestmoor at Green Hills, bringing more than 30 years of experience in senior living and healthcare. With a background as an Executive Director, Business Development Director, Sales Director, and Medical Social Worker, she has spent her career guiding seniors and families through important life transitions with compassion and care.
Before The Crestmoor opened, Shannon met with families across Nashville to introduce the community’s unique luxury rental model and hosted gatherings to help depositors connect and build friendships. Today, she leads the sales team with a focus on family, joy, and meaningful connections that make The Crestmoor feel like home.
Shannon’s dedication to service began early as a Candy Striper volunteer and has been recognized nationally as one of President George H.W. Bush’s “1000 Points of Light.”
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her mother, as well as traveling, reading, decorating, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, a fly-fishing guide.
Brian Kersey
Director of Dining Services
Brian Kersey brings more than 20 years of culinary experience to the role, including the past three years in leadership positions overseeing dining operations. Since joining the team in December 2025, Brian has been responsible for managing daily operations across all dining venues, with a focus on exceptional hospitality, team development, budgeting and member satisfaction. His background includes extensive experience in hotel and resort kitchens, where he built a strong foundation in culinary craftsmanship and service excellence.
Brian is passionate about creating meaningful dining experiences that bring people together. He believes food is more than a meal—it’s an opportunity to create connection, tell stories and elevate everyday moments. Throughout his career, he has focused on developing strong teams and mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals while continually enhancing culinary programs.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their two daughters, Izabel and Mara. As a family, they love swimming, hiking and spending time outdoors, as well as relaxing together with a movie night. Brian is also a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan and rarely misses the chance to cheer on his team.
Gina Farris
Director of Life Enrichment – Independent Living
Gina Farris is a proud Knoxville native and graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media. In 2008, she discovered her passion for senior living while working as an Activities Assistant in a long-term care community—a role that quickly grew into a lifelong calling to enrich the lives of older adults through connection and engagement.
After relocating to Nashville in 2020, Gina gained valuable experience in social services before returning to her true passion: Independent Living and Life Enrichment. For the past three years, she has thrived as a Director of Life Enrichment for luxury communities, designing innovative programs that foster community, promote well-being, and inspire joy among residents.
Dedicated and creative, Gina is committed to making senior living vibrant, purposeful, and fulfilling. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family, traveling, and enjoying Nashville’s music scene through concerts and festivals.
Frankie Harper
Director of Life Enrichment – Parcside
Frankie Harper designs engaging programs that support the cognitive, physical and emotional well-being of residents. Since joining the community in February 2026, Frankie has focused on creating meaningful, personalized experiences that foster connection, joy and a vibrant sense of community.
With nearly a decade of experience in event planning and senior living, along with leadership roles in hospitality and promotions marketing, Frankie brings creativity and innovation to life-enrichment programming. She is passionate about creating moments that help residents feel seen, valued and connected, whether through thoughtfully curated activities, shared experiences or simple everyday interactions
Outside of work, Frankie enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, attending live music events, cooking and dancing. Known for her spontaneous singing and warm sense of humor, she believes every day offers an opportunity to bring joy and meaningful connection to others.
Samantha Wessels, RN
Director of Resident Care
Samantha Wessels, RN brings more than 15 years of experience in senior living and clinical nursing. She joined the community in February and oversees the delivery of high-quality clinical care, leading the nursing team while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and supporting the well-being of residents through collaborative care with physicians, therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Samantha began her career as a CNA and later served as an LPN for more than a decade before earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing and becoming an RN. Her experience also includes work on a neuro/spine surgical unit at a local hospital. She is passionate about compassionate, relationship-centered care and is especially dedicated to supporting residents and families in senior living and memory care environments. Wessels, S. Bio
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her two children at their sporting events, and enjoying reading, travel and outdoor activities. She believes that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day. Wessels, S. Bio
Anna Leverence
Sales Counselor
Anna joined The Crestmoor at Green Hills in January 2025, bringing over eight years of senior living sales experience in the Nashville market. She has achieved 100% occupancy twice in her career, served as a Senior Sales Director supporting underperforming communities, and played a key role in opening a new community. Well-versed in IL, AL, and MC, Anna has deep knowledge of the Nashville, Bellevue, Brentwood, and Franklin markets.
Passionate about making a positive difference, Anna guides families with compassion through every step of the senior living journey. Outside of work, she enjoys thrifting, antiquing, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her two cats. A fun fact—Anna has played the violin for 28 years.
